Welcome to my Kitchen!
Hi, I’m Jeff Suddaby, chef and host of the cooking show, Who’s Coming for Dinner! From the Kitchen today, we are enhancing the flavour of fruit! This quick and easy enhancement consists of simply – tipping the fruit into sugar and glazing in a hot frying pan.
- Cut the fruit into desired slices.
- Using white or brown sugar, tip into the sugar.
- Place the fruit into a medium hot pan; glaze for 1 ½ to 2 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the heat. Serve with baked meringues and flavours yogurt.
The fruit will explode with flavour. Be sure to try it!
