Hi, I’m Jeff Suddaby, chef and host of the cooking show, Who’s Coming for Dinner! From the Kitchen today, we are cooking shrimp cocktail. We all love the icy and crisp taste of shrimp cocktail. The secret to obtain this great taste, is to ensure the shrimp are not over cooked. So lets do it!
- Peel and devein the shrimp wash and place them into a saucepot. Add Cold water, pickling spice and lemon. Use just enough water to cover the shrimp.
- One on high heat long enough to bring the water to a boil.
- Remove from heat at once and cool allowing cold water to run over the shrimp.
- Serve with your favourite sauce!
