Hi, I’m Jeff Suddaby, chef and host of the cooking show, Who’s Coming for Dinner! From the Kitchen today, we are making icing for your cake, rich and in my opinion dreamy.

• In a saucepan add granulated sugar and buttermilk. Heat and stir until smooth.
  
• Add your favourite flavouring – mine is chocolate.
  
• Stir constantly for 2 minutes allowing it to come to a simmer.
  
• Let it cool, the icing will thicken once it has cooled.
  
• Add icing sugar to reach your desired thickness.
  
• Spread onto your cake and serve.
